About Chris Endfinger
For the past 15 years, emergency room doctor Chris Endfinger has treated patients throughout the greater Birmingham, Alabama, area, serving in attending and leadership roles at various hospitals and medical centers with TeamHealth Southeast. In addition, Chris Endfinger recently spent a period as medical director of the Emergency Department at Gadsen Regional Medical Center, where he provided urgent care to patients with acute and chronic illnesses and injuries. Also active in philanthropy, Dr. Endfinger has volunteered his services to medical missions in Honduras. He supports Birmingham’s at-risk youth through Fight 4Life Fitness & Boxing Ministry and gives whenever possible to Christian charity Compassion International.
Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Endfinger fulfilled his clinical training at the University of Alabama School of Medicine, where he was named chief family medicine resident and intern of the year. He earned his doctor of medicine from UAB and bachelor of arts in biochemistry, cum laude, from Lipscomb University.
