Dr. Chris Endfinger serves as an attending emergency room physician for Alabama Emergency Departments. In his private life, Dr. Chris Endfinger is a strong supporter of the Fight For Life Foundation, Inc.
The Fight For Life Foundation, a nonprofit organization located in Birmingham, Alabama, reaches out to inner-city children in need of assistance and funds various programs to support students in particular.
One of the charity’s newest programs is Building Dreams, an in-school or after-school program that helps children develop social skills. The students are encouraged to complete certain tasks each week to gain “yards,” earning up to five yards per week. Every ten yards gained can be redeemed for a prize. Tasks that students can do to gain yards include making good grades on tests, participating in class, and doing community service. The Foundation hopes that incentivizing good behavior and accomplishments in school through the Building Dreams program will increase the students’ overall success in life.
